Dad # 1 - Quincy ME

Here is the first alternative dad. He is not necessarily top of the list. The list is fluid and constantly changing but Quincy happens to be the first one I thought of.
For each alternative father I will list the pros and cons and invite your comments on suitability.

Pros:
* He's a very kind, compassionate man who will always fight your causes
* He's a well respected member of the community
* He's probably worth a few quid and does not have any other dependants

Cons:
* He works very long hours and is constantly on call as a medical examiner
* He lives on a boat
* He may not still be alive

An explanation...

So here's where we begin. I have often thought, what if my dad was someone else? This led me to formulate a top-five list of alternative fathers which over the years I have added and subtracted names from.

This blog is not just about fathers, but it's as good a place as any to start. I don't wish Darth Vader was my father though. Even after all these years, he still scares me!
